A municipal corporation, Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) is charged with developing and making affordable and safe housing for residents in the city of Pittsburgh. Our team is supporting HACP with their mission by providing ongoing services that include key security and network deliverables.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

Since 1972 the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has grown to be the nation's largest philanthropic body dedicated to health. Acuta provided consultancy services to ensure the best technologies were used to improve communications and health care practices among practitioners in under-served communities.

Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Investment Board

The city of Buffalo and Erie County recognized a critical need to bolster the labor market for unemployed/under-employed segments including veterans, youth, disabled, formally incarcerated adults, immigrants and career-changers. Acuta’s solution was to create a ‘Workforce Buffalo’ brand and digital platform that is considered the country’s leading One-Stop Career Center digital experience. To accommodate career center partners that include the NYS Dept. of Labor and community school networks, we built a central portal with customized microsites, automated event registration & management system for training sessions and conferences, intranet and other solutions that all gives a nod to the economic vibrancy and potential surrounding western New York.

Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank

This quasi-government arm of Rhode Island is the hub for economic development and infrastructure financing initiatives that ranges from water, renewable and efficient energy, roads, bridges to brownfield improvements. Recognizing the need to improve municipality, business and homeowner engagement, Acuta created an ADA compliant portal with application lead management, strategic marketing and internal workflow solutions geared to meet the needs of external and internal stakeholders.

United Way of New York City

For more than 76 years, the United Way of New York City (UWNYC) has served low-income New Yorkers by improving their access to quality education and to opportunities to lead healthy and financially stable lives. Acuta provided online marketing consultancy services to help UWNYC support their e-fundraising efforts.

PA Dept. of Transportation

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) oversees transportation issues for 40,500 miles of state roads and highways and 25,000 bridges throughout Pennsylvania. By way of a multi-year web development and infrastructure support plan, our team partnered with PennDOT, and other key specialists, to relaunch a program encouraging safe and healthy environments for children commuting to school.

A private, research university centrally located in the District of Columbia, The George Washington University has consistently ranked as a top tier institution in the U.S. Given the school’s focus on research, we provided web application support.

Care for Homeless

Care for the Homeless is a New York City not-for-profit that provides social and healthcare services to the homeless by way of their 36 service sites. To help meet City requirements, Care for the Homeless partnered with Acuta to streamline their information management processes.

PA Dept. of the Auditor General

Referred to as Pennsylvania’s fiscal “watchdog,” Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General is responsible for ensuring that all state funds are spent legally and properly. Acuta was charged to develop a digital strategy that included brand development, email marketing, responsive web design and an integrated database system that consolidated multiple legacy systems which has significantly increased a level of transparency and accountability throughout the Commonwealth.

As a public-private partnership, Urban Innovation21 focuses on boosting economic development by way of supporting entrepreneurship and technology-driven initiatives. To support their mission, Acuta became the technical muscle that redeveloped their web presence.

Catholic Community Services (CCS) is a 75+ year old not-for-profit, with 300+ employees, serving over 2,000 persons through its 17 programs. Due to its growth, CCS partnered with Acuta to create and execute a digital strategy plan that ranged from brand development to website solutions that empowers donors, clients, employees and other stakeholders.
